Paul Zerby
Paul Zerby was born in Fargo, North Dakota, trudged through the snow to school, until he was 8 years old, when the family moved to Duluth, Minnesota.  When Paul was 12, St. Paul, Minnesota became home.  He attended Cretin High School, the University of Minnesota and then became a 2nd Lt. in the United States Army in 1953.   After artillery school  at Ft. Sill Oklahoma, he served 15 months in Korea.

Upon his return from Korea, he married Betts, and graduated from Harvard Law School.
Upon completion of a judicial clerkship in New Hampshire the family (now plus Paul Jr. and Steven) moved back to Minnesota, where Paul joined the Minneapolis law firm that is now Dorsey & Whitney.  Anne and Matthew were added to the family.  After 15 years of private practice and teaching tax law,  he joined the staff of the Minnesota Attorney General, where he practiced for another 23 years.   After retiring from the practice of law, Paul commenced writing, but he also got interested in local politics, and ran for the Minneapolis City Council, where he served for a four-year term.  Writing is his third career.

The writing, revising and editing of The Grass took a number of years, and it is finally ready for your reading enjoyment.
